her colors on the other hand are definitely above par than her lines. her coloring doesnt need much tuning cuz to me it seems that she hit that pretty much on the nail. so i'd prolly say shes where she prolly should be in coloring, however theres always room to improve.
in no way am i hating or anything i'm merely stating my opinion on her work. deviantart doesnt have enuff constructive crits around so i think sum ppl's egos tend to boost up simply cuz no1 ever really points out the bad in the works posted here in general.
every1 is entitled to their own opinion so please dont take this in the wrong way ppl. we all as artists have room to improve...

I suppose you're talking about her scrap work, or oeakaki. When I look at her more official Cged works, the lines are very smooth.
I don't see how "she pretty much rehashes the same format over and over...and apparently people like it", applies to "bad work" or her work.
Every Artist has their own style. And what do you mean by "rehashes the same format"...? Do you mean her own style, charcters etc.?
I suppose DA really doesn't have much critism, but a lot of Artists discourage it sometimes too. Sometimes in Art sites alot of people just spurt out critism without really helping.
I guess that it can be bad, but for a lot of artists, confidence boosters really help.
Hm, and I don't understand what you mean by "she needs to learn more about expressions and style/attitude". Her characters' expressions portray their character perfectly (and about style: her designs are really beautiful o.0).

Obviously, everyone knows there is no best but a better.
By rehashes the same subject, it means there's nothing new. Often repeated the same type of work, same expressions, and so on.
I really do think that Kurot works hard on her work, seeing the quality of her art.
Hmm...but I don't really see how she "rehashes". By "same type of work", you mean style?
But anyway, I never thought Kurot was the "best" or anything along those lines, but I do think she is a very great artist, and people going to her fan club and questioning their support is unnessecary, and can be rude.
But, I can see your point ^^
